Anyone watching the Emmys?
It's still pregame at the moment, but ever since I was a wee little fan I've loved the big awards shows. I'm not sure why. I find the dresses only somewhat interesting and am not particularly competitive, but something about the tension and seeing personalities as people and how awkward and embarrassed they can be when not being given something to do just charms me.

Anyway, if anyone wants to chime in and pick faves have at. I'd love to see Peter Dinklage and Jane Lynch win, otherwise...?

29. That is great news.
Dinklage may not look like the Tyrion in the books, who is not in the least bit handsome, but he plays the character to absolute perfection. Just like the Tyrion in the books, it makes you sad when he's not center-stage.

10. Don't you just love Amy Peohler for getting up on stage
And then the rest of the nominees got up there with her. Glad I didn't miss that, I still have the grin on my face.

16. I'd like to think it was spontaneous
But my husband thought it might have been planned. I agree, it was great either way. And then they got a standing ovation, just perfect.

17. probably planned -
at least by a few. Edie Falco looked a bit surprised. But it had to have been partially planned because they had a tiara and flowers. Still funny. Loved it.

Damn if he doesn't look straight. I don't think I like him anyway but he seems to have gotten off the drugs. Or on some appropriate ones.
