My granny always used avocado oil on her face and she had the most beautiful skin. A little every night. I was starting to use that, but will also try coconut oil.

It is food grade coconut oil. It is a saturated fat so it's solid, like butter, at room temperature.
My cousins used to use it after being in the sun (before too much sun exposure was known to be bad), or for dry skin.
