4. I think I'm just depressed tonight.

I'm in the middle of saying goodbye to my life here and all my friends- and I'm starting to realize just how many friends I've made in this redneck berg.

Not bad for an ex-drunk who used to take pride in the "loner" label- before I knew that was simply an excuse for staying alone. Fuck that- I prefer my many friendships over that!

Time was, it was typical to get a hundred and more responses to an OP. Now it appears there are perhaps a dozen regulars hanging out. The page takes days to turn over when it used to take an hour or so.

12. I do vaguely recall it being

a bit more busy when I started here. If you weren't on something, it was gone, and Each time I logged in there were a couple pages to check if I missed anything that caught my interest. Then again, I was busier, so I didn't check as often.

I suspect some of the flame wars and purges kinda thinned out the crowds. And general disillusionment with the cold reality of the limited benefits of winning thinned them some more.
