Of course it never should have been in the first place. However, the repeal is one more inch toward what should be, that being equality without discrimination and total, unbiased acceptance. BTW, I don't post in GD if I am feeling at all vulnerable, even the smallest thing can set someone off over there.

8. From casual observation, there are rules when posting in GD.

1. GD doesn't understand the concepts of sarcasm, irony, humor or anything subtle. Use it at your own disgression.
2. Many in GD are quick to label something "offensive" or suggest an alternative motive for an OP. The reasons for such actions will rarely be explained or appear logical.
3. Any/every subject falls under Rule #2.

find yourself covered in slime. There are posters there that I swear are just plain evil. The only reason why I have not put them on ignore is because I'm intrigued as to how they are so mean.
