3. If you've never seen it, I HIGHLY recommend the film "Insignificance"...
.
.
.
... wherein Marilyn Monroe, Albert Einstein, Sen Joe McCarthy and Joe
Dimaggio all meet in different combinations in a hotel room (though
the ending is violent and disturbing -- you may not want to watch the
scene with McCarthy and Monroe at the end.
.
At one point, Marilyn Monroe takes TOYS and gets down on the floor
and demonstrates Einstein's Theory of Relativity to him visually --
it's the first and only time I've ever gotten a glimpse of what it
is.
.
They're all only generically identified as "The Scientist", "The
Actress", "The Politician" and "The Ballplayer.
.
Gary Busey is hilarious as Joe Dimaggio, obsessively chewing gum
in the hopes of finding his own baseball card in the package.
.
.
.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089343/
.
.
.
It has much to do with Einstein's status as a hardcore pacifist
and McCarthy's persecution of him as such.

4. Reminds me of when I was taking an advanced physics course.
There were two other students in the class with me. The smartest person took an excused absence to interview for a graduate program, while the slowest person had a hangover from the frat party the night before.

The professor (appropriately called Darth Roeder) gave a full lecture to me for a full 75 minutes on the Theory of Relativity. He was writing furiously on the chalkboard and combining about 5-6 algebraic steps as he wrote each line. At the end, he came up with E=MC^3!

It took me a couple of minutes, but I eventually found his math error. I also had the privilege of relating the story to my classmates and let them make copies of my notes that I took that day.
