Seriously. I don't think I made it halfway through the first time I watched it.

Last year, after reading the Bridges interview in Rolling Stone, I figured "What the hell" and gave it a second chance.

And you know what I found out?

It is ASTOUNDING.

I saw that one in the theater and I must have been distracted (possibly by my date) or in the wrong frame of mind because I wasn't impressed. Watched it on video a few years later and laughed my ass off. Now it just gets better with each viewing.

11. I bailed out on it the first couple times I tried watching it. Then I started to get it.

It sneaks up on you. I think for new viewers it would help to read a little about it first because first impressions might leave you thinking this is just a bunch of actors going for 'odd' performances.
