1. My answers
1. What is the most difficult video game you've ever played?

My answer: No clue - if I couldn't figure it out after an hour or so I gave up. I know now that I'm better at games where I build things then war or shooter games.

2. What public figure spoke at your graduation?

My answer: I went to such small High School and College that honestly can't remember.

3. What is your favorite mixed breed of dog?

My answer: no clue - not a dog person.

4. How many bookmarks do you have in your browser?

My answer: 47 in my work IE browser. Not many at home with my Chrome explorer

5. Do you play the Lottery?

My answer: I have a co-worker that'll collect $2 from some friends when the jackpot is over 100mil but other than that - no.

3. I did nite school at Ursinus,
but didn't go to any graduation since it was for a post bacculaurete program,

Now to your answers.

1) Don't play video games so they would all be very difficult.

2) Our state rep spoke at our High School graduation since he was also an alum from the district. Can't remember who spoke at college because it was such a long time ago.

3) We've had both a shi tsu and a miniature poodle and both are equal.

4) Bookmarks? I have about 10 links in my favorites, but most are work related.

5) Too much, way too much.

6. Unfortunately No.
althought the little shit (poodle) seems to have forgotten what going outside is for.

The shi tsu was our first then after he passed we got the poodle. But simetimes I wonder if she's the reincarnation of the shi tsu.

7. Answers
1. What is the most difficult video game you've ever played?

I don't remember the name of it. An 8-bit Nintendo game involving a series of colored keys and rooms to escape a castle, there are 1000 doors and 122 keys interspersed throughout the castle. There is one solution. I never found it. Apparently the ability to solve the game in less than 6 hours without the walkthrough would represent an IQ of approximately 190. My father bought it for me during the whole "How goddamned smart is this boy?" phase.

2. What public figure spoke at your graduation?

High School: Local newscaster.
College: John Ashcroft. I was banned from campus in advance of my graduation because I threatened in the school newspaper to "pie" him over his support of capital punishment.

3. What is your favorite mixed breed of dog?

Mutt.

4. How many bookmarks do you have in your browser?

Zero. I don't use them.

5. Do you play the Lottery?

Only when the jackpot gets large enough to pique my interest.

12. Actually...I heard he wasn't terrible.
A little hokey and the jingoistic imagery was thick but it was an uplifting speech or so I heard.

Anyways that is the MO for my alma mater, Catholic University...every few years they invite some prominent pro-life politician (usually but not always a catholic) to campus (in 2011, it was John Boehner), make them feel warm and fuzzy about saving the unborn then loose the university community upon them to attempt to move them on other issues of Catholic doctrine. With Ashcroft, USAG at the time, it was capital punishment. With Boehner, they nailed him on poverty and social justice very publicly.

We have a rep for being a conservative university, but it's more complex...we're a doctrinal university. It's a bad bad bad place to give a speech about tax policy when people are dying of starvation, you'd be nuts to give a speech about national defense as long as any catholic anywhere in the world is a prisoner-of-conscience or being oppressed or civilians are dying. It's the sort of place where if the Pope excommunicated conservatives tomorrow, by 5PM nobody on campus would admit having ever met one...and about 61% of the student body are registered Republicans.

9. OK, my answers aren't very good.
1) Sorry, don't play video games.

2) Um, didn't attend it. Too crowded at Spartan Stadium, too hot in June. Don't remember who it would have been in 1987. OK -- just looked it up -- Joe H. Stroud, then editor of the Detroit Free Press (big whoopie zip, didn't miss much. Class of '88 got Jesse Jackson!)

3) Sorry, I like Springer Spaniels, that's the only breed I've ever owned. Life isn't complete without finding long black and white dog hair in your food.

4) Probably about 100. Does it tell me somewhere?

5) Well, I bought a $2 Michigan Instant Lotto ticket the week I turned 18 just for yucks. Didn't win anything. I guess going 28 years without buying another one means I'm not really a lotto player.

1. What is the most difficult video game you've ever played?

I've played this game called Net-Hack; keyboard graphics, your standard 'find monsters and kill them, and level up' kind of game. According to the help file there are 21 levels. The highest (lowest? maybe) I've gotten to is 7 or 8. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NetHack On edit: I just downloaded the latest version too. It actually has graphics now!

2. What public figure spoke at your graduation?
I have no clue.

3. What is your favorite mixed breed of dog?
Lab Shepard mix.

4. How many bookmarks do you have in your browser?
About 50 or so.

5. Do you play the Lottery?
Not as much as I used to.
