My plant is doing something I've never seen before...
I'm rooting it in a vase of water and yesterday, this is what I saw:

I wonder if it will continue to grow?

2. Oh sure. A philodendron will survive a nuclear holocaust.
Just don't bury the (oh hell there's a name for it but my middle aged anomia is kicking in) "site" where the leaf is sprouting when you put it in dirt.
