What is the sign for you that fall has arrived? I had some corn for dinner. It was not that
great and is the last bit of corn I will have this year. :cry: I also saw a brown leaf :scared:

10. When I see pumpkin pie liqueur at the local liquor store.
Also, when the air becomes crisp, the days become sunny, and the smell of decaying leaves is in the air.

13.  When the daytime temp gets below 90deg, and nights drop below 78deg.
As for brown leaves, we have had them for several months at least. Lack of rain is killing the trees rapidly.

15. I feel like cooking again
Its still hot here in s. texas, but not numbingly hot. I made a nice chicken soup on Friday when we had a short cold front. I made some biscuits Saturday morning. I made a big skillet of fajitas last night and had that with hot tortillas.

Just start feeling like eating more meat. Can't wait for turkey. I'll eat turkey anytime of the year, but it is just too hot to turn on the oven, even with AC.
