2. Perfectly true. This is why its best to have only 2 or 3 cats. Otherwise you never get anything
done.

4. Yep. I even have a slide out on screen keyboard so I can still type
with my mouse and one hand when "demanding cat" decides that I just have to hold him NOW!!! while he naps.

5. I see now what I am doing wrong. I need to use a table rather than a laptop.
I just figured the cat and the laptop were gonna somehow fit in my lap at the same time if we worked hard enough at it. I see clearly now that the cat can never share space with the computer.

:banghead:

6. Yup.
Mine doesn't poke at the keyboard. She just spends a lot more time rubbing herself in my face and walking across the screen. She'll lie right in front of the monitor, too. I frequently point out to her that she makes a better door than a window. She seems quite proud of that fact.

7. My Eddie did that all the time. Drove me nuts.
She died on Saturday at age 13 from cancer. Now I wish she would bother me to be on my lap.

21. More than any of the dozens of kittehs I've shared my life with I miss my Picasso the most
and I think of him nearly every single day. And at the time he wasn't even my lifetime favorite cat. But there was something I couldn't put a finger on till after he was gone, and that was simply his need to be with me when times got tough, he ALWAYS knew that time. I have not had a kitteh before or after who knew when I need them for support.

I hope he is playing with Eddie..............

25. Awww ... there's a female gray Tabby on my desk right now ...
she likes to be close to her humans. Right now she's sitting there peacefully. Earlier she took her usual position between me and the keyboard, with her back paws pushing against my tummy.

Handy tip: pressing the space bar causes most browsers to scroll downward. If your browser won't let you scroll upward, check how close the cat is sitting to the KB ...

8. SO true.
Mine sits at the right edge of my chair. stands on her hind legs, braces herself with one front paw on the armrest and belts me with the other to get my attention. So I reach down, pet her, she gets down, walks around in a circle, comes back to the same spot, cries, stands on her hind legs...

...and she usually keeps this up until I stop what I'm doing and brush her.

19. Riley (may he R.I.P.) used to bonk his head under my mouse hand.
And if that didn't work, he'd get up on the desk and start pushing things off the edge.

He was a GREAT cat!!

:hi:

24. More like these lyrics ...
To all the cats we've loved before (Willie Nelson & Garrison Keillor)

To all the cats we've loved before
who wanted to come in our door
then once we let them in
they wanted out again
in order to come in once more

and then there's "The In and Out Song" ...
