It was a dark, rainy and stormy night in Houston, yes more rain.
The lighting show is really good, across the whole northern sky.

Fall is trying to get here.

3. We have a long way to go to catch up but damn the rain looks nice.
It got so dry any little thing could set off a fire.

7. Please send it up to the north!!! We're dying in East Texas.
Sometimes stuff blows east from Odessa or south from Dallas, but it dries up before it gets to us.

The weatherman on Channel 7 in Tyler tonight said:

Usual no. of +100 degree days in a summer: 8

No. of +100 degree days this summer in Tyler: 83

No. of +100 degree days from 2001-2010 (9 yr. total): 81

We have TV weathermen in East Texas that chuckle about global warming when it snows and think they are being clever. And these guys have degrees in meteorology and should know better. The stupid is everywhere.
