What's your guilty food pleasure when your SO is away?
I usually get some chips and dip. Then have a dinner of oven-baked breaded shrimp and tater tots. Total grossout meal. We never eat that crap when my wife's home.

1. Mac'n'cheese from a box, with a can of tuna mixed in, eaten right out of the pot, with a beer.
Edited on Fri Sep-30-11 12:47 PM by Brickbat
Mr. Brickbat hates that crap.

11. I make it that way, but...
I also add some veggies, usually broccoli. Annie's boxed mac'n'cheese is actually pretty good.

2. Chicken. Hubby's gone vegetarian.
I'm good with it, like what we normally eat, but every now and then I got to have me some yard bird.

9. Beer. If my wife's home with our 6mo old, I sip a pint
If she's away with the baby, my happy ass is at the taproom.

If she's away and I have the baby, I think how nice a pint will be when she goes to bed for her long nap or the night...then I wait for my wife anyway before I take a drink.

My darling Iz is really cutting into my sittin' around drinkin time. (WORTH IT)

and buy hummus, dolmas and roasted eggplant with pita. The eggplant tastes like its been marinating in garlic for a week. So yummy!

Although, we can get hummus everywhere here, and the olive bar at Kroger usually has dolmas. The eggplant dip, however...

28. Are those veggie burgers homemade?
If so, would you be so kind as to post the recipe? I'm always up for new veggie burger recipes, and I'm not even a vegetarian, let alone a vegan. I just tend to like them better than the real thing.
