Piranha was that movie for me (2010 version). It has some of the worst acting ever (Jerry O'Connell is the absolute worst), the fish are funny looking and the movie is overly gory (in a funny sort of way). Now I've got to go back and watch that horrid film again. I think just to laugh . . .

1. No, but I've read every Dan Brown book despite the fact that I hate his 'writing'
It's a weird compulsion. I don't get it.

I have the same compulsion myself.

33. "This book is different. It's not about the Illuminati; it's about the Masons"
SSDD....like "why do you keep hitting your thumb with that hammer?" "Because it feels so good when I stop."

And I'm still yelling "DO SOMETHING, STUPID! THERE'S A CRAZY BALD MONK WITH A KNIFE RIGHT BEHIND YOU!" when he sets up a tense scene only to have his protagonist go off on a 20-50 page self-dialogue that rips off "Holy Blood Holy Grail." :banghead: :banghead:

24. Five minutes into that I turned to my friend who MADE me watch this thing.
Was it still VHS then...but any way I turned to him said.

So they're Dead?

How could you POSSIBLY know that?

It's by Amenbedetooey. How could you NOT guess the SURPRISE ending within 5 minutes if you actually have active brain cells.

Oh...the guys dead.

The autistic kid that only talks to shadows...wwwoooo!!!! DEAD PEOPLE! Suddenly starts talking to this quotequote therapist unquotequote.

Is a Spoiler Alert really necessary on what the Big Shock Ending is?

I've already seen The Creeping Terror, so I think I can handle it.

ETA: I ran to Amazon to see if "The Science Fictionary" had ever been updated, but sadly, no. If you enjoy pre-1980 SF it's a treasure.

16. Glad to see Im not the only one who didn't like that movie
I watched it with some friends, one of whom had already seen it yet was falling off her chair laughing her ass off. I sat there with a straight face through most of the movie. (I think there were a couple of scenes I found funny, but that was it.) The movie had the kind of stupid humor that I don't find the least bit funny. Unfortunately, that's the kind of humor Ben Stiller seems to specialize in, which is too bad because he's better than that. He has so much talent: he used to have a sketch comedy show on Fox that was excellent.

and ashamedly admit I did laugh at it on first see, which was a long time ago and my preferred humour has changed a lot since. I think the movie is gross now and I can't stand whatshisname, the lead guy. Ben Stiller.

of humor. "Meet the Parents" was 108 minutes I'll never get back.

23. "Your Highness" Ugh.
My daughter rented it to watch with her friends, but when
she discovered that I wanted to watch it, she left it behind
for my husband and I to watch.

I usually have a hard time staying awake through movies
on Friday nights, and that night was no exception, I kept dozing
off between the TERRIBLE and TOTALLY UNFUNNY crap on the screen.

When my daughter came home from her sleep over, she asked me how
the movie was and I gave her a SCATHING review. She wanted to watch
it anyway and popped it in.

Thinking I might have slept through something that might have
been funny, I WATCHED IT AGAIN.

HORRIBLE! No redeeming qualities whatsoever.

Last night, we were looking at posters in a store and she
held up one from "Your Highness" and said, "Here's one for YOU, Mom!"

I made a retching noise and said, "That's 3 hours of my life I won't
be getting back". A woman next to me said,"It's THREE HOURS long?"

And my daughter told her, "No, its an hour and a half, but she watched
it TWICE".

I cannot stress enough how terrible this movie is.

31. Point Break
Patrick Swayze, Keanu Reeves, Lori Petty and Gary Busey

The worst movie I have ever seen...and yet if it's ever on tv,
I must watch it. Probably have seen it 5 times.

I think I did see it in the theatre first run.

My husband had never seen it. It came on tv several months ago.
I said this movie is so bad, but you will not be able to stop watching it.

The whole time he was complaining how bad it was...and he's not one
to even one to watch much tv, let alone something that sucks so badly.
