Most unfortunate name for a restaurant -- Would you change it?

Stumbled across this place in Columbia City, MO. Would you have changed the name? Do you think the owners have been harrassed?

6. Wasn't there some guy...
Named Osama that Bush promised us that he was going to find? Seems that I heard that name before, but it's been so long...

4. on a lighter vein... I've always been slightly amused
at the string of convenience stores in rural Missouri (and elsewhere, I guess), called "Kum-n-get-it."

They even have coffee cups and travel mugs with it... Am I just horrifically naughty or (admit it, now) would you not be restraining a red faced chuckle?

5. About a year ago I read an article
about a man who owned an Osama's restaurant near an army base. He said many customers suggested he change the name. He always responded, do you think Timothy's were pressured into changing their restaurants name after the Oklahoma City bombing? I don't see why he should have to change it.

27. He changed it.
Osama's was about eight miles from Fort Bragg--and even after 9/11 it was always packed with GIs who came for the good food at fair and balanced prices.

It was owned by a gentleman named Osama who was an American citizen.

Now it's something else--and I'll be damned if I can remember what.

10. There's an Osama's cafe in Raleigh
the owner was featured on the local news maybe a year or so ago. His (largely flag-waving yahoo) customer base insisted that he keep the name.

Yes, the poor guy got harrassed big time, even in that progressive college town. A lot of the community came to his defense and stood guard around his shop for several days.

My favorite naughty one is "Tallywackers". It was a resturant chain that quickly died, probably due to its name.

33. There is a place
in Cincinnati called J and W barbeque, and the unfortunate decision was made by them not to put the word "and" on the sign, but rather the symbol for 'and' which when driving past looks frighteningly like an "E". It's a little mom-and-pop place, looks like it's been there for a hundred years, I can't IMAGINE no one has mentioned it to them yet...
