Twenty-one. One to hold the bulb, and 20 to drink enough til the room spins.

That puppy is unspeakably sweet and squee. On the other hand...this sounds more like a Canadian Province joke. Probably got started on PEI.

4. I knew some people who had a Newfie (dog, not Canadian) |
|
and he was huge, looked a bit like a furry hippopotamus. And he drooled. Oh, God, did he drool. Buckets. Gallons. Nice dog, though.

5. I love big dogs so much I forgive drool. |
|
We've had Pyrenees for a long time, and they aren't quite as jowly (drooly) as Newfies can be. But in any case they make up for it all with their cozy rug impersonations and giant snuggles.

8. A family friend has one |
|
It's a bit more than a year old. HUGE. And drools like a sonofabitch.

9. My neighbor just lost her Newfie last month. |
|
It's been very hard for her, since she's retired and they were inseparable. Nala was a beautiful dog, very sweet and was 12 1/2, pretty remarkable for a Newfie. :(

he sees an ad for a handyman. He promptly walks in and applies.
"Do you know how to use tools?" "No."
"Can you paint?" "No."
"Can you garden?" "No."
"Well, what makes you so handy?" . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . "I lives right around the corner!"
