my best friends wedding.

he is gigglin all over the place. lol. this kid is a hoot. doesnt worry about what others say about him. tells me ... i looooove you, when he calls me up to get him from school, with his friends standing there. his older brother and i first are stunned, then i laugh and my oldest tries to tell his brother why he shouldnt do it. but none of the kids at school ever gives him a hard time either.

this kid loves chick flicks.

3. he is and he isnt. the thing is he just doesnt care. i love it. and it works for him
Edited on Sat Nov-12-11 10:50 PM by seabeyond
he is 14 and at the age most kids are really concerned with this stuff. though i was watching the last two days, driving him to school in the morning, he spent most of the drive try to fix his hair just right. had me laughing. must have fallen in love without me knowing.

5. I'm a chick, and action flicks bore me to tears.

The lack of dialogue and discernible human relationships makes me nod off after about 20 minutes of explosions and car chases.

Edited on Sun Nov-13-11 04:55 PM by seabeyond
i dont like the guy movies that have to throw in the stripper and hooker all the time. but i like a lot of guy movies (not cowboy movies, yuk. or mofia. or war. lol.). i dont like tear jerkers. more happy ever after type watcher.

11. Lock, Stock and 2 Smokin Barrels
Guy Ritchie I think gives the guys and the ladies what they want. For me, that's Jason Stathom. yummy.

10. +1 and -1
I get ya, but give me a Will Smith "action" movie any day of the week and I'm a happy woman. "Bad Boys"?! Love it.
But then "Hitch" makes me laugh. Ohhh... maybe Will Smith is the answer...

6. The first time I read the thread title, I missed "flick".
So I read it as "ha. hooked my 14 yr old son up with a chick." which is a horse of an entirely different color.

It would make you either an awesome mom or a terrible one, depending on how your taste was.

7. I don't mind them sometimes
some I like, some I don't. Not my favorite type of movie, I'll admit.

Good for your son, though!
