Poll question: Main Dish at Thanksgiving?

Despite being vegetarian, I'm including a lot of the traditional dead animal options.

We'll probably go with stuffed pumpkin this year.

Which seems to contain 2 bird too many.

I just find turducken funny and wonder what could have possibly possessed someone to debone a turkey, a duck, and a chicken and shove them inside one another to cook.

Why not turduckenham (Which sounds like a city in England)?

Most people still haven't heard of it. If they ever make deli slices, I'd probably switch from the Tofurky slices :)

We've had the quorn for a couple of years and it has a taste and texture pretty close to the real thing.

we're going to try a preparation from america's test kitchen that involves rubbing salt under the skin the night before and draping it with bacon before putting it in the oven.

20. We always had pheasant when I was a kid.

My dad was a pretty avid hunter. Pheasant is very good if you cook it right and don't let it dry out.
