Help DU! I'm in pre-date phone tag hell!
I asked her out on Saturday and she said yes and gave me her number! Awesome, right? Well, it turns out we're both pretty busy people. Here's how this week went...

Tuesday, 2PM: I call her, get her voicemail. I leave a message.

Wednesday, 7PM: She calls ME, but I couldn't pick up at the time. She doesn't leave a message.

Wednesday, 9PM: I call her back as soon as I am able, get her voicemail again. I leave a much shorter message.

Thursday, 3PM: Just called her, got her voicemail for the third time. I leave no message.

What do I do here? I really want to get a date lined up with her this weekend, so I don't have to wait til after thanksgiving. But I also don't want to overdo it. Do I:

A) Text her?

B) Try her back tonight?

C) Wait for her to call back, on the off-chance that she picks a time when I'm not busy?

1. You listen to this song and realize it might be your life...

(Don't worry, it's not Rick Roll)

And then you text her and let her know that you'll be home at X time and if she's got the chance to give you a call. Then you wait. If she's truly interested she'll make the time to call.

5. I agree
at some point you just have to put the ball in her court. Text her a specific time and then leave it up to her. You've tried multiple times to contact her. The ball is in her court now, as to whether she actually wants to talk to you or not.

2. Always leave a message.
In this case, something along the lines of "Sorry, we seem to be just missing each other. Here's a time tonight when I guarantee you I'll be home blah blah blah..."

And then answer the damn phone!!!

3. Hmm....she's only called back once and didn't leave a message?
I'd either try once more via text, or wait for her to call.
