Homestar Runner
I am SOOOOO not with the times. I just discovered an online cartoon last night that's made the rounds for a few years that's WICKEDLY funny, and probably pretty popular by now. It's called Homestar Runner, and it's a cartoon with a lot of crazy-drawn characters. Like the lead character, Homestar, has no arms. And his girlfriend is shaped like a baseball bat. And his neighbors are a group of wrestlers named "Strong Bad", "Strong Mad", and their dopey non-wrestling brother "Strong Sad", and their pet, "The Cheat", who looks like a cheese or an anvil. There's this coach on the show who has a thick Minnesotan accent, and a guy who shovels shit all day long. They also do spoofs on old and new advertising with their "Fluffy-Puff Marshmallows' product. I can't tell you all about it, you gotta go check it out. I would STRONGLY reccomend watching Homestar's welcome speech, his Fluffy Puff commercial and "Strong Bad's e-mail's" first, cause they're the funniest, IMO.

GAWD, I am SOOO not with the times. This toon came out in 1997.

Watch Homestar Runner here

1. I recently discovered this too
My friends started bombarding me with links so I had to check it out. The e-mails are my favorite...and pretty much all that I will look at.

3. Look more closely...
Homestar's girlfriend, Marzipan, is shaped like a bell.

I'm a big Homestar fan. Go and watch Strong Bad's email response titled, "Dragon," so you can learn of the glory that is... TRODGOR! THE BURNINATOR!

Also, I love the old time cartoons they have on there. "Mr. Shmallow" is the latest (watch that one and then watch the "Marshie" cartoon). It's interesting how they've invented a past for the characters as if they've been around since the Depression.
