2. Someone had a fake bank card that accessed my account by bank machine. They withdrew money that
wasn't there. I freaked out. I called the bank security office and made them keep the video tapes of the incident. Believe it or not they didn't pull the tapes first thing.

3. Yes, my bank alerted me that there was suspicious activity
on my account. I don't care how much some people hate Bank of America, but they have always looked out for me.

5. I had a person take my 3-digit number from the back of my debit card
when she didn't need to, I had already swiped the card. I was so nervous about it I finally had to kill the card. She said her employer 'required' that they do this because it's cheaper than using it as a check card. I could have WROTE a check had I known this, and it was not done to me before at that same company.

So, my bank wants to know why I am killing my bank card and I told them. They said, well, yeah, 'technically' she could have done that when I expressed she can go online with my account number and order stuff and charge it to my bank account.

So how secure is anything now except paper cash in your pocket?

7. I mailed a check to buy from a well-known magazine.
I didn't notice at first, but they were taking out "membership" fees ranging from $25 to $65 per month. I had to close out the account and while the bank waived their fees, I had two bounced checks to deal with because of it.

8. Someone ordered pizza and a movie with my debit card. Now how hard would it have been...
to get Comcast to SEE who ordered the movie? The bank put the money back in but they never even tried to see who used the number. They said it was just a random mixup. (It was in another state and I only have one card.)

10. I've had credit cards hacked several times
Once my bank account was hacked by a former friend who had a duplicate id (mine) made with his picture, then walked into a bank branch deducted $1,000 from my account.
