1. You're supposed to look at the clothes - not the models

11. Actually, I love the boots,
but would not wear them unless they were faux fur. I am totally anti-fur.

6. I think they're told to look that way. It's been the style for years. I think they were all...
Good looking women, very strong and athletic. I've seen much thinner women in my neighborhood who are perfectly healthy, but they are not muscular like these women.

It does look like they have been trained to have that perfect gait, every movement choreographed. They're going very fast, which is typical. As far as the clothes, I thought about half were good, but not at all practical.

As far as being ticked off, if that is not something they affect, they're being run through just like dogs at a pure breed dog show. And it's all about their bodies and the clothes (tricks to show them off) and not a thing about them.

I expect most of them are paid very well for this Other than a look at what I guess are called 'the beautiful people,' I don't find this interesting. If they are pissed off about fashion models, they might want to try to learn something else.

And I'm not a fan of the fashion industry. Give me work clothes, and the rest is for those with leisure and money to burn. But it takes all kinds to make a world interesting.

Thanks for posting that. I'd have never found anything like that.

:hi:

8. If you had to parade around wearing that crap in time to techno-shit music, wouldn't you be?
That was terrible and I only got through the first minute or so.

12. It's the "pissed off runway look" and it's to show you that this is...
serious fashion, not K-Mart stuff or circus costumes.

(So, who wears the furry boots, thick sweater, and leaves all that leg exposed when it snows?)

19. Can you imagine in a hundred years how ridiculous these
fashions will look. As stupid as Louis 14th powered wigs and satin breeches.

16. If runway models are

supposed to not smile in order to keep prospective buyers’ attention away from the models themselves and focused on the clothing, why don’t designers just put the clothing on wire hangers and hook the hangers onto a revolving clothesline? Some of the models are so thin that I don’t think the clothing would look much different if it were on hangers anyway.

21. They found out what they're getting paid for the gig
And combined with the general blah-ness of the clothes, that would piss anyone off.
