My idea for daylight savings time
It's confusing. Everybody hates it

So instead of springing forward and then falling backward one hour every year, I propose that we save up the hours: let's spring forward a whole day and then fall backward a whole day once every 24 years

We could do it every sixth leap year

That eliminates the unnecessary confusion of some leap days: we can just spring forward from February 28th to March 1st

Then, in the fall of every 24th year, we celebrate Do-Over-Day, where we reset the calendar to yesterday once and everybody gets a do-over
