Yeah, first thing we all need to remember is that cats are hunters--and good ones, at that. We domesticated them promarily for that reason, and that mechanism has never changed.

I keep mine indoors and have for years--it keeps the number of dead animals down to a minimum, and I can replace "victims" with better smelling catnip toys at the same time. :)

3. Growing up we had a cat that was quite the hunter. Mostly birds found their

way into the house through his mouth. Why is it that cats always want to show off caught prey when most of the time they are introverts?
