3. I remember when my brother got the Best of PP&M album and I heard that song.

Was one of the few songs I learned to sing.

4. I saw Peter, Paul and Mary sing that at the Kerrville

Folk Festival in the few years before Mary passed away.

When they sang that, there wasn't a dry eye in the whole theatre, men and women...
and it was packed full in the large outdoor theatre.

It was very moving. I had never heard them live before. It was amazing.

I don't remember exactly what year...maybe 2002. Can't quite remember.

7. My sister used to sing that to us

My oldest sister used to sing PP&M songs to us when we were little (she was 14 years older than I) - this one was a favorite.
She died unexpectedly last Dec. 18th. I can't believe it's been almost a year.
Now this song makes me weepy.
