40th anniversary of the voting rights act.

What are we figting for?

1. End voting fraud. Support the Conyers/Dodd Act.

2. The right to organize.

3. End the war in Iraq.

3. Will do. I am very concerned about the voting ID law in GA.

Sonny Perdue and his Republican cabal are running the state into the ground. All of the social, political, educational and environamental advances we've made in Georgia are being rolled back.
Plus, we have the evil Ralph Reed to contend with. He's running for Lt. Governor. Lt. Governor (Mark Taylor), Secretary of Sate (Cathy Cox), Dept. of Labor (Athens' own Michael Thurmond) and Atty. General (Thurbert Baker) are the only statewide Democratic positions that we hold and all of these folks survived the Republican coup. (Several state reps switched parties before being sworn in to throw the state house to the Republicans. :grr:)

We must stop them before they turn back the clock to the 19th century.
