I just wrote to my senators. Such as they are.

Here's the text - adddressed to Hutchison and Cornyn:

I have been deeply disturbed by the likelihood that President Bush’s chief advisor has committed treason by divulging Valerie Plame’s covert identity. We are supposedly trying to seek out the proliferation and sale of nuclear materials and she was a key agent attempting to investigate such possibilities.

I am also concerned that the President and Scott McClellan do not seem concerned about her cover being blown.

I sincerely hope that partisan rancor will end regarding this issue because it affects all Americans regardless of party affiliation. I hope I can count on you to approach this issue in an objective way. I would very much like to hear what you have to say about it. A form letter will not be helpful.

2. I've thrown politeness out the window

with lott and cochran. I let them know how this veteran feels about their neanderthal methodology of government and lynchings and the war and tax breaks for the rich and coddling the likes of bush and rove. Fuck them. They do not deserve any courtesy or politeness from me. I know that is hard headed and stubborn and my message won't get through but it wouldn't if I instantly became polite.

Thank you for your efforts though. And my sincere sympathy for having two knuckledraggers as Senators; probably more neanderthal than my two.
