All of this required serious engineering (web) skills and development work.

I'm wondering if anyone wants to do this "open source" or if anyone
has started an open source project?

As far as I know, this current costs $$$ which is a detriment to
grassroots.

This post is for the techies of the bunch.

...and I might add, whatever gets written, keep security in mind for goodness sake. We've had enough laptops stolen from offices already.
