Help Stop Bush's Anti-Choice Nominee - John Roberts
Just as we feared, President Bush nominated a right-wing judicial activist with an anti-choice track record to the Supreme Court: John Roberts.

Send an email to your U.S. senators right now to oppose Roberts.

If Roberts is confirmed to a lifetime appointment, there is little doubt that he will work to overturn Roe v. Wade. As Deputy Solicitor General under the first President Bush, he argued to the Supreme Court that “Roe was wrongly decided and should be overruled....” We must not allow someone who’s spent his career advocating ending the right to choose to be appointed to the most important court in our country.

1. I am pro-choice, but there is no way you will stop Bush
from appointing an anti-choice judge to the Supreme Court. If we defeat Roberts, Bush will just name another pro-choice, pro-business judge. There is a seemingly endless supply of them. Let's focus on the lies that got us involved in Iraq, the DSMs and Rove, issues on which we can win meaningful battles. We need to win the Senate, the presidency or both before we can have much say as to who becomes Supreme Court justice.

3. Agreed. Did you stop working on the environment (or whatever)
because of the invasion of Iraq?

I can't understand this idea that we can deal only one issue at a time.

Especially when we have such simple access to the sort of link posted above.
