STOP THE BOEHNER PENSION ABORTION ACT

They are calling it the "Pension Protection Act". Don't believe it.
The bill has been nicknamed the "Pension Abortion Act".

1. I have been actively following this bill along with HR2830. They

are doing this on the behave of my ex-employer, IBM. We, older retired IBMers filed suit against IBM under Cooper vs IBM and won the case. A settlement offering has been made while IBM is in the appeal process. These bills contain a retroactive clause that would allow companies, such as IBM, to revert our current pensions (annuities) into 'cash balance' systems. Cooper vs IBM was based on pension plan changes made by IBM in 1995 and 1999, which cost me, personally, in excess of $600 a month. The settlement would recover about $100 a month.

I have already signed this petition and would write to my Congressman except he is a Bush/Delay puppet, voting with the adgenda 98%.
