I like your map smartvoter. It is good to have a graphic representation to feast our eyes upon :thumbsup:.

I checked again at one of the papers I submitted my letter to and it hasn't been printed to date so I'm guessing it won't be. However LTTEs against Rove have shown up on an almost daily basis in that paper so I'm satisfied that the word is out, even if it isn't my word.

But that is ok, 6 others did. The red part of CA, Fresno had a bunch of LTTE's in the local paper. By the way we do have an Air America affiliate here as of 7/4/05, maybe that has helped.

President should honor his

word and fire Karl Rove

President George W. Bush should stay true to his word. In compliance with the on-going investigation into who leaked the identity of covert CIA agent Valerie Plame, Time Magazine released reporter Matt Cooper’s e-mail correspondence with his bureau chief Michael Duffy. We have since learned from these e-mails that President Bush’s senior advisor and chief political strategist, Karl Rove, is named as the source for this leak. Bush once said, “If there is a leak out of my administration, I want to know who it is and if the person has violated the law, the person will be taken care of.” Bush should honor his word. Knowingly revealing the identity of a covert CIA operative is against the law, and an act of treason.

Leaker, or leakee?

The leak was a crime. Why protect the leaker?

Why are so many people, including many journalists, rallying in support of Judith Miller of the New York Times, who went to jail recently?

I would understand the support if she went to jail for protecting an anonymous source who divulged information in the national interest.

This case was clearly the opposite. The leak hurt our country. Now Miller and the Times are positioning this as a press freedom and First Amendment issue and trying to present Miller as some kind of hero.
