Candle in the wind for Sheehan and stop the war movement |

I wanted to let everyone no that I finally figured out something that I can do as an every day protest. I bought an electric candle from the dollar store and turned it on every night since the peace vigil. I posted this on the DU general discussion forum but it got burried. Anyhow I just wanted to let everyone know that this is a peaceful gentle way too help out. Especially if you got a peace flag.

Good thinking! We've got an America Stands With Cindy sign taped inside the windshield of our car.

...but I'm waiting on delivery of some bumper stickers I created that read TEXAS IS BUSH COUNTRY with the word BUSH painted over and the word CINDY stencilled in its place. That should get some tempers boiling quite nicely...

It has a picture of Jesus that says " I didn't tell anyone to vote for George W. Bush." I want to take that to mass next time my legs go out.
