2. I wrote them a letter on Sunday

along with one to the Associated Press and the other online publiciations that ran the story.

For the record, CNN and the Fort Worth Star Telegraph ran the AP story minus the reference to a "patriotic" camp. I sent them both thank-you e-mails.

4. It is pretty fucking sad..

that you feel you have to write a letter thanking them for not showing bias. Not an attack on you, but how sad it is that we feel elated that they actually do their jobs correct.
