Bay Area: Tuesday election get together?

I was wondering if any of the BA DUers were interested in hanging out election night. I might be able to wrangle a buddy of mine's house in the Berkeley hills for it if desired. Could be fun to watch California give Bush and the GOP the finger. :)

9. Good News!

Talked to my friend Jim last night and we are "go" for Tuesday! He only has one request:

"House rule #1

Cigs outside, dope inside. Unless we get special
dispensation from the Pope."

I'll nail down the details and get the address info out to folks ASAP. He lives relatively close to a BART station, so anyone who wants to come by BART, I can pick you up at the station.

Next year Im taking Nov. 4th and 5th off of work to watch the election, and recover from the major hangover I'm gonna have regardless of the outcome!!!

21. The trip turned out, as Jack said when he called,

to be too far for a work night. Did you all have a good bad time together? What a bummeroonie!

we were all there before 8pm, and tuned into CNN at 8 to have a grinning toad like Blitzer say it was all over. We watched the Daily Show from 8 to 8:30 so we got a couple of laughs, but we generally just wrapped it up after that. :shrug:

But Prop. 54 lost too! Something good. And the company was delightful.
