Another Great Opportunity!! This news just out!!

Dennis Kucinich is coming to Washington state on Sunday, October 5 - arrival time at SeaTac about 7pm - to speak to the ILWU/America in Solidarity Rally in Fife!!!

After our Volunteer/Supporter meeting on Sunday, October 5 (3 - 5:15), we can greet Dennis Kucinich at SeaTac Airport when he arrives and/or we can go to the Rally (details below) and support Dennis in his role as leader in labor!

Monday morning, there may be a fund-raising breakfast in Tacoma and we're working on the possibility of a fund-raising lunch Monday before Dennis flies East again!

Keynote Speaker: Dennis Kucinich, Democratic Presidential Candidate
The evening event will be a celebrated lookback at the one-year anniversary
of the longshore lockout and the attack on organized labor. We will also
kickoff the America in Solidarity campaign, a grassroots effort to educate
our neighbors and elect labor-friendly politicians.
We will also honor Jobs With Justice and the other groups and individuals
that stood by the ILWU in their time of crisis. Please join us in our
celebration.
There will be speeches, entertainment and most importantly, free food and
drink. Washington's congressional delegation and gubernatorial candidates
have been invited, along with state and local politicians who will have the
opportunity to sign our Amerca in Solidarity pledge.
