Sign the AFSCME health care petition. Tell President Bush that we demand lower cost, higher quality health coverage for all.


Shamefully, America is the only industrialized nation that does not guarantee health care as a right of citizenship. Instead, our health care system is set up to maximize profit and minimize care for those who cannot afford it.


In this country, if you can’t afford increasing premiums and co-payments – you'd better not get sick.

We the undersigned support health care reform. We believe that reform must build the foundation for affordable health care coverage for everyone.

We also believe that reform must address the fundamental and critical issues of cost, coverage and quality, without shifting more of the financial burden to working families.

We have the means to greatly improve health insurance coverage in the United States. We call on you, Mr. President, to make substantive health care reform a priority.
