Hey y’all -

Have you ever thought about how challenging it must be for an edgy group like The Ruckus Society to raise money?

We certainly aren’t a good fit for the timid. Can you imagine the conversation:

Wait! Are you kidding me? These people are professional hellraisers spreading lawlessness throughout the movement. They won’t rest until Corporate Fat Cats are brought to their knees. We can’t give them money!!!

When I tell people about the amazing work that The Ruckus Society does through our nonviolent direct action trainings and actions, they often wonder how we have survived and thrived for ten years. I tell them that it’s because of a small, dedicated group of people who believe that change is created by taking direct action.
