ELIGIBILITY



NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN the Free TiVo® box and one year's service contest ("Contest"). VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. THIS CONTEST IS OPEN TO ALL LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES AGE 18 OR OLDER, except residents of New York and Rhode Island. Employees and their immediate families (i.e., parents, husband, wife, brothers, sisters and children), agents, subsidiaries and affiliated businesses of Parents Television Council™ ("PTC"™) and/or TiVo® are not eligible to enter or win.

PRIZE



PTC™ shall randomly select a winner ("Winner") pursuant to the Official Rules. Upon being selected as the Winner, and upon the Winners' eligibility to participate in this contest being verified, the prize will be sent to the Winner. It is the responsibility of the winner to contact TiVo® to arrange service to their TiVo® box.



No change in the prize is allowed.



SELECTION OF WINNER



Winner will be selected through a random drawing from all eligible entries received as of 12:01 pm Pacific Standard Time on the date of the drawing. All decisions by PTC™ in relation to this contest are final and binding. Odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries received.



ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNER



Potential Winner will be notified by mail or e-mail within two (2) weeks of the drawing. If a potential Winner cannot be reached after ten (10) days from the first notification attempt, is found to be ineligible, declines to accept a prize, or in the event that a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and that Winner will not be eligible to receive the prize thereafter. In the case of a prize forfeiture, PTC™ shall select a new Winner from the pool of entrants received according to these rules, described hereinabove.



The potential Winner may be required to furnish picture proof of identification which may include a driver's license, passport, voting card or similar government-issued identification. The Winner will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility, release of liability and publicity, including, but not limited to, the use of Winner's name, hometown and photograph without additional compensation (where lawful) which must be signed, notarized and returned to PTC™ within fourteen (14) days of receipt, or the prize will be forfeited and the Winner will be disqualified.

PRIVACY NOTICE

This Contest is void wherever taxed, prohibited or restricted by law.

By entering the Contest, entrants agree to abide by all terms of the Official Rules and agree that any decisions made by the Sponsor, Parents Television Council™, made in its sole discretion, shall be final.

The odds of winning this contest will be determined by the number of eligible entries received.

The retail value of the prize is approximately $224.

PTC™ is not responsible for entries which are misdirected, lost, late, illegible, forged, destroyed, incomplete, mechanically duplicated, mass machine printed, or require postage due, or entries not in compliance with the Official Rules. Such entries will be disqualified.

If for any reason the Internet is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of PTC™ which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, PTC™ reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest.

PTC™ assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Should this Contest be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted on the PTC™ web site.

If a dispute arises regarding who submitted an on­line entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the person in whose name the entry was made.
10.

No substitution or transfer of prizes is permitted by the Winner. Taxes, if any, are solely the Winners' responsibility.
11.

Winner, by acceptance of a prize, agrees to release PTC™, its subsidiary or affiliated businesses and each of their officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives and any other person or entity associated with this Contest from any and all liability claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for losses, injuries or damage to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, enjoyment, ownership or use of the prize. PTC™ expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability for injury or loss of any kind to any person or property relating to the delivery and/or subsequent use of any prize awarded.
12.

Each entrant agrees that: (i) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Contest, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and any judicial proceeding shall take place in a federal or state court within the State of California; (ii) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Contest, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (iii) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages, and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
13.

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and PTC™ in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of the State of California or any other jurisdiction), that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of California.
14.

Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or the like entry methods will void all such entries by such methods.
