There is a much, MUCH stronger case against Saudi Arabia than against Iran.
So, why are we talking about attacking Iran?
If we try and keep our troops out of harm's way by keeping them from fighting an unnecessary war, then we are a bunch of troop-hating, anti-American peace-pussies.
But, if we instead give the pResident the authority to use force against the country where the hijackers came from, and against the country that funds and supplies the Sunni insurgency, then we support our troops, because there is nothing our troops want more than to fight and die under the brilliant strategery of Commander CuckooBananas.
Of course, the flip side of this is that it would also demonstrate how weak the case against attacking Iran is.
So, I suggest that we tell our congress-critters to be strong, manly, and pro-troop-- We need to draft a resolution making the case for attacking Saudi Arabia, and then give Bush the authority to use force against them.
