That’s right: It’s time to let Washington
come to you.
ACT NOW to schedule a home-district meeting
with your Member of Congress. He or she
will likely be in-district during the upcoming Memorial Day recess from the end of
business on May 25 until Monday, June 4.
This is a critical moment on issues of war/peace and democracy and social justice.
District offices are great places to meet Congress members with a small delegation of PDAers and allies. Depending on the
interests of your local group, and the
record of your Representative, there are many urgent issues on which PDA wants to
press members of Congress, including:
- Iraq/Iran/ Impeachment
- Single Payer Medicare for All
- Union Rights and Trade
- Clean/Fair/Transparent Elections

Congress member is in-district, it’s also a
good time to dialogue with him or her at
public forums – and a good time to generate
local media coverage about your criticisms
or approval of your Representative.
