We regret that amid the good news we have for you, the troubling situation with the political prisoners continues in El Salvador.

POLITICAL PRISONERS UPDATE AND ACTION

Although 3 of those captured on July 2 are out on something like bail, 10 remain incarcerated in very poor conditions. Reports have also surfaced concerning torture and other unsavory tactics against them. This week, Congressman Capuano has begun circulating an open letter to El Salvador's president denouncing the situation.
