Young teens arrested at Faslane

Two 15-year-old girls are thought to be among nine people arrested during a demonstration at the Faslane nuclear submarine base on the Clyde.

The protesters were taking part in a year-long campaign against the UK Government's plans to renew the Trident nuclear system.

They had blocked the north gate entrance to the naval facility.

The campaigners also glued their hands together in a bid to stop police officers from removing them. ~snip~

1. Lying war-making politicians... meet the real peacemakers.

the Trident. Imagine, if you will, trying to comprehend the meaning of Hiroshima and the horror that created. It may take a while. It would take a few days of concentrated meditation, at least, and even then you wouldn't come close, would you.

If you were to understand the trident, just one submarine and the horror it could unleash it would take years, as each sub carries a nuclear weapons cargo of many bombs, each much more powerful than the one dropped on Hiroshima. Imagine a fleet of Trident subs. it would take decades to even come close to understanding what devastation it could do... perhaps the end of the earth, the whole of creation could be destroyed by the Trident fleet.

The future belongs to these young people. These young people are speaking for the end of nuclear proliferation, while the wagers of war, the politicos of hell speak of bombing Iran for peace(!?!), while supporting every step of nuclear proliferation.
