War protesters reach accord with Pittsburgh
The Associated Press
PITTSBURGH - ...
Since the beginning of the month, the Pittsburgh Organizing Group has been protesting continuously outside an Army recruiting office.
Members sued the city and police on Tuesday, claiming they've been wrongfully cited and charged with violating city ordinances against blocking sidewalks.
Under Wednesday's agreement, protesters will have use of two sidewalk sections on either side of the recruiting office.
One section is designated for sitting, lying down and sleeping and the other for sitting or placing signs.
