National Antiwar Protest In DC Next Weekend
The Troops Out Now Coalition has been planning a national antiwar demonstration in DC for Saturday Sept. 29 for sometime now, but to my knowledge no one has mentioned it on DU. I know many DUers traveled great distances for Sept. 15th Antiwar protest and most people Cannont do that for two demonstrations so close together, but I'm posting this just in case someone in DC area might not of known about it and would like to go.

2. This what democracy looks like.
We do support the troops, but we are against the war.

3. I was on vacation Sept. 15, but will be there for this one.
I live in Silver Spring, MD, so have no excuse for not being there every chance I get.

4. Yeah, I live down in Anne Arundel County myself and feel the same way. Being so close to
DC I feel like I really don't have an excuse to miss a demonstration like this. On a slightly unrelated note, I used to intern at Peace Action/Student Peace Action Network which is located in Silver Spring.

5. Has anybody here ever worked with TONC before? I know they're
an offshoot of ANSWER, but I've never been to one of their rallies before or had any real experience with them (other then a presence at UFPJ or ANSWER demonstrations). I was just wondering if any DUers had experiences with them and could offer me a heads-up of what to expect.
