Dear OEN Readers and OEN Writers,

OEN has been crucial to the public interest, and in exposing matters of critical interest to the nation. Now, all of us are having a National Meeting to press our agenda to Congress. OEN has consistently pursued the public interest and whistleblower rights. We have a once in a lifetime opportunity to make our voices heard, and to pass the most meaningful accountability legislation in U. S. History.

We Need Every Single OEN reader and writer to attend. Please send this invitation everywhere. We need all interested citizens.

Now is the time for all public minded and enlightened citizens to band together. Let's all be together in Washington this March 8.



We are pleased to invite you to attend this year’s National Whistleblower Assembly, organized by the Make it Safe Coalition. Individual co-sponsors include the Government Accountability Project (GAP), the International Association of Whistleblowers (IAW), the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), the National Whistleblowers Center (NWC), Project On Government Oversight (POGO) and the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law (UDC-DCSL).

The National Whistleblower Assembly will be held in Washington, DC, from Sunday March 8 to Wednesday March 11, 2009.

This year’s Assembly has four cornerstone objectives:
