I've put together a letter to give to each my four daughters. I will ask them to take action. Please help me check my facts. I believe what I've written is correct, but to make sure before I pass it on, please help. And anything else you notice.
Prescription for medical care:
Call three and pass it on to two people. Then let the White House know what you’ve done.

What I _want_ is single payer in order to cut costs, but I’m willing to compromise by having a public option with no triggers.
Some of our officials are saying we must be fair to the insurance companies. We don’t want to put them out of business.
Since when has fairness been a part of the free market system? And when were the insurance companies fair to us?
Corporations have a defined goal of making as much money as possible. They’re required to do this by law. This is how Ben and Jerry’s lost their company. This kind of business climate leads to the taking of inordinate profits and even collusion between the insurance companies to keep the profits high.
Unless there is a public health care option, there will be no competition to bring costs and profits down. This is destructive to our whole economy. We need to have health care for everyone at a reasonable cost. If we don’t, the cost of paying for the uninsured to be treated in emergency rooms and the outrageous bonuses to insurance company executives, our economy will in a downward spiral.
Thirty percent of our insurance dollars go to costs not associated with actual health care. We are paying double the rate paid in Germany which has the highest health care rate of any European country. And we are 39th in our actual health care when rated to every other country in the world.
As an example of cost containment, we know Medicare has a administrative cost of around 2% , so we know that costs can be much lower than they are now. Even bumping up the payment rate that doctors receive from Medicare to a reasonable rate, we’d still be ahead in terms of cost containment with a public option. This would allow the corporations to either become competitive or pass the way of the dinosaurs.
Reform health insurance to real health care now.
