New to the DU Activist group

Hello all! I joined the DU just a few days ago and am absolutely loving it here, well over 30 posts so far. I saw a video of some of you guys protesting in 2007 on YouTube and was compelled to see what's up at the activist headquarters.

My basic question is, how does DU Activism go? How do you guys organize and take to the streets, and is this spread at all throughout the country? I live in Sacramento, California currently and am seeking to really step up my game as far as effective protesting/activism/campaigning goes, really make differences. If there are any DU organizations around there, let me know! Appreciate all your feedback.

1. Well,

I don't check in as often as I should, but this forum works well as a place to come to find an action you can take, whether a demonstration, letter writing campaign, petition, or other, and it's a good forum to post any that you may learn about.

The top post has useful links, outdated as some of these may be.

Be sure to also check the DU forum for your state of residence for other news and actions.

Generally, read the most recent posts and there should be something recent that's of interest to you.
