I'm leading a free workshop on this topic via telephone. I'd love to have some DUers join in!

If you've wished you could take significant action to decrease the suffering and injustice in the world -- or to create the world you want to live in, building on your progressive values -- this workshop is designed for you. You can go beyond signing online petitions, calling Congress, posting to DU, and going to an occasional protest, even if you have a busy life, "aren't the activist type," and aren't an expert on the issues.

In this quick and lively workshop, you'll develop a clearer vision of how you can combine your interests, skills, resources and availability into a custom-made niche as an agent of world change.

This workshop is designed for people who:

• want to be part of creating a future we'll be proud for our children to inherit
  
• have not yet found a way to get involved that fits who you are and what else is going on in your life
  
• would welcome support in taking the next step on the journey from good intentions to powerful social action.

If you're in a career/work transition and want to incorporate your progressive values into the way you earn income, you'll find the teleclass helpful as well.

This 45-minute workshop is offered two separate times. Choose one:
Saturday, April 17, at 10am Pacific time
Tuesday, April 20 at noon Pacific time
