Bill Hedrick came within 6,000 votes of beating Ken Calvert in the 44th CD in 2008. He had no national party support, no name recognition and very little resources. He won 49% of the vote, despite everything going against him. He now has more support and resources, and some party support. Hedrick now has a really solid shot at defeating Calvert, and even has an office open in the OC(the first time any Democrat has done so in the history of this district).

You guys should support the Hedrick campaign in any way you can, even if you aren't in the area. Also, if you are a Riversidian or in any way reside in the 44th district, I must say you have an even greater obligation to help your district in any way you can -whether it be volunteering or donating. =)

The house election will likely result poorly for the Dems. But with your help, we can still create a buffer in getting rid of some the very worst Republicans in this country.
