Ready to go, copy and paste email news media list! Urgent cry for help!!!
Does anyone have a list of contacts that's ready to copy and paste right into an email. I need as many emails as I can get, I'll take anything. I have most of the big news stations already done. Or does anyone want to help blast the media with me? I haven't slept in days since my friend made this video a couple days ago. It's the best one we have and I think it could do the trick if I could really make it move. If I don't get this video and or my story on the news,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVxi4tUBGys

Bill HR 5628 "Ban Corporal Punishment in Schools Act" will die and I'm NOT GOD DAMN HAVING THAT!

My son is still having nightmares from just being shown an god damn paddle in Kindergarten last year and these

bastards never even so much as gave us an apology. They are beating someone's kid everyday and threatening me

with a lawsuit to try to keep me quiet about. (Slander, my ass, these Educators are child abusers! Plain and Simple)

I don't give a damn if they say they won't do it to my kids. This is a small school and my kids ages 7,8, and 9 know damn

well when one of their classmates has been assaulted by the principal because they told me just last night "We know because

they come back crying." Why should my children have to witness that? What the hell kind of example is that setting? Oh, no

I am not having it. She can threaten to sue me all she wants. I AM NOT GOING TO STOP, EVEN IF THIS BILL DIES, I WILL EXPOSE

THESE SICK FREAKS! ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!!! YOU DON'T HIT KIDS!!!

2. Awesome, thanks nofurylike
I'm a little wound up tonight, over tired, over stressed, and over worried. If I had the money I'd just get the hell out of here. Maybe something will give soon.

3. glad i found it. i understand your feeling as you do. things are
really rough these days.
where would you go?

good for you, taking action, stopschoolpaddling! i know that blasting media can be very effective, so go for it. be relentless, it is worth it. and also the blaster for senators and representatives. people seem to have forgotten how much difference we really can make by taking such action.

peace

4. I'm am going to file a restraining order this week
against the principal, one for myself, and one for each of my children against the principal. And against any teachers who are known to be witnesses to the abuse that is occurring. These people are just frightening! Even the conselor is going on it. She was positively rude to me and told me that she would not sign my denial of corporal punishment papers. Why not? All it says is that my child will be treated with respect. Why would anyone have a problem with that? It's sad that I have to go to these lengths to protect my children from people who work in public schools.

I don't know where we'd go. Definately out of Arkansas!

7. i deeply admire your fighting this so strongly, stopschoolpaddling!
i can understand the urge to get away from there, but like many in such difficult areas, that place is very fortunate to have you there, bringing consciousness where i can't even imagine how things would be if you all weren't there fighting. i think of The Handmaid's Tale, and shudder.

blast the media every day, and sens and reps too.

there are many places that are, at least, not that bad. but places that are regressing need everyone with your kind of courage and strength who are willing to fight as you are.

thank you for all you are doing on all our behalf, stopschoolpaddling!

5. This brings back one of my worst childhood memories.
I was in first grade, separated from my parents for reasons there's no need to go into, and staying with some shirttail relatives that aren't worth remembering. One day my teacher seized one of my classmates, hauled him up to the front of the room, turned him over on her rather ample lap and proceeded to whack him repeatedly with her hand (no paddle). It was horrifying to me, who had more than enough problems to deal with but wouldn't for a lot of years, and that scene has played over and over in my mind. Every time I hear someone say the phrase "if I got a spanking at school, I got another one when I got home", I cringe and struggle to keep from saying, "Oh, so that's what's wrong with you!" I fear I cannot watch the video--old memories die hard for me--but I support your effort and wish you well. If anyone had laid a hand on my kids while they were in school, there'd have been hell to pay. Sick freaks indeed. Kudos to you for fighting the good fight!

6. Oh my, Thank you for sharing that, I'm so sorry
that had to happen to you. It really is so terrifying for children to witness or receive beatings. It's just unspeakable what they are doing and wherever there is this behavior the whole flavor and atmosphere of the school just becomes toxic. I saw signs of stress on my children after just the first day at this school. No one, including children should have their dignity and innocence stripped away like that. Thanks for writing, it's stories like these from people like you that keeps me going when it would be easier to just move away.
