If you are protesting Obama's wars you're not going to get many people.

4. It's always hard to organize a mass demonstration.

It's fairly easy to get a dozen people to show up and hold signs. Getting thousands is almost always a monumental challenge. If you've never done it before, it's all but impossible. If you're not well-known among the activists in the area, it's even harder. I hate to be discouraging, but your best bet, if you're not already an activism leader, is to join activist organizations and help them with their efforts. That's how you get better known, and being well-known is crucial in getting others to join you.
